For G6 transmitters manufactured after fall/end of 2018 (i.e. serial no. starting with 80 or 81) you can use the master version. Using nightscout is awesome. I have a Dexcom G5 and iPhone so am already able to see my BG readings on my phone, but nightscout has a better UI with more info and more options. Setting up nightscout is not impossible, but will take a few hours (just follow the instructions on the Nightscout website CAREFULLY).

Friends of mine with mm2 has been able to get bg with it unfortunately it doesn't allow to upload data to Nightscout don't know why..
