The Emonda SLR is the top level 800 OCLV whereas the Spesh is the 2nd tier FACT 10r. I think Spesh have pretty much stopped making the Venge and all the top marques seem to be following the aero trend.

For 2021 Trek combined those two fits into one with “H1.5” being used across all Emonda models. All models of the Emonda SLR and SL now feature the same “H1.5” geometry. That means the new Emonda SL is more aggressive than the last, and relatively speaking the reach figures are on the long side and the stack figures are fairly low.

With a completely new frame, a new Bontrager cockpit and wheels, the latest model also promises to deliver on flat terrain. Early impressions out on the ride suggest the flagship Emonda SLR combines the flighty ride befitting of the featherweight frame, with lively but confident handling and a superb spec.
